The Pacific Rowing Club will once again host Varsity level development camps this summer at our boathouse on Lake Merced in San Francisco. These camps are intended for those rowers who wish to row small boats, both sweep and scull. Pacific's fleet consists of 4 pair/doubles, 2 straight quads, 2 coxed quads, 2 singles and other fours, in addition to eights. Athletes from our camps have gone on to make the grand finals at USRowing's Youth national Championships in both big and small boats.
Our bothouse also offers weight equipment, 18 ergs, spinner bikes, video review equipment and a protected body of water for rowing. We also are celebrating our brand new 45-foot ramp and 120-foot dock, which makes access even easier!
All attendees must have at least 1 year of competitive rowing experience, and be able to commute to and from our facility Monday through Friday. Depending on enrollment, we will attempt to group similar-experience rowers together to make for a better camp.
Spaces are limited so rowers can get more personal attention, so sign up early to reserve a space. Cost is $225 per 1-week session, and class size is limited to 20 rowers per camp. Camp sessions run from 7 am to 11 am, Monday through Friday.
