Middle School Team

Open to both first-time and advanced rowers, our Middle School Program offers sixth through eighth graders instruction in sweep and scull rowing. The focus of the program is to introduce rowing skills and techniques and provide important lessons in cooperation and teamwork.

Sessions run for 4 weeks at a time and meet 3 days per week. Day one begins on a Saturday with an introduction to the sport, and each session culminates in an exciting race on the final Thursday. Our weekly schedule is as follows:

Saturday 8:00-10:00am
Tuesday 4:30-6:00pm
Thursday 4:30-6:00pm

Twice during the spring season, rowers will have the opportunity to race on Lake Merced alongside local Middle School teams during Pacific Rowing Club's two annual regattas.

The cost of each session is $420, which includes 12 days of structured instruction in rowing, the opportunity to practice alongside the Varsity and Novice crews, and an exclusive Pacific Rowing Club Middle School t-shirt.

To secure a slot in our Middle School Program, kindly refer to the Registration page. We look forward to welcoming you into the Pacific community.
