Membership

We are an adult rowing community at Lake Merced that welcomes all rowers over 18 — from former college athletes to complete beginners. PRC Masters is inclusive and open to everyone regardless of gender, identity, or experience level. What unites us is our enthusiasm for rowing and commitment to growing together as athletes and as a team.

$500 per trimester

includes all weekly water & land training sessions, plus home regattas at Lake Merced! This fee is in addition to an annual Club Membership fee of $500.

Young Alumni

50% Discount for PRC alumni ages 18–26.

Away Regattas

Our Club Squad travels include Head of the Charles (Boston), San Diego Crew Classic, and the USRowing Masters Regional Championship (Oregon). Travel costs are billed separately.

Our community

Novice squad

For adult rowers in their first 2 years of the sport. Focus on learning to row in a cohort setting with a strong sense of community and wellness. Racing opportunities against other novice squads are available across the region, and super fun -but not required.

Training blends on-water rowing with land workouts. Full gym access included.

CLub squad

For experienced rowers, and the next step for Novice Squad members seeking to further their fitness and rowing knowledge.

Sessions balance technical development, fitness, and the social aspect of rowing in a supportive environment. Racing opportunities at the regional and national level.

Novice Squad Practice Times

Track A:

Track B:

Three 90-minute mini lessons in quads or 4's. Participants will receive 3 free sessions (1.5 hours each) per member.

Adult learn to Row

Join us for an exciting two-week program with our Learn to Row sessions on the beautiful Lake Merced! Experience adult rowing while immersing yourself in the vibrant community and culture of PRC. In each session, our coaching staff will guide you through intentionally programmed rowing and fitness instruction, equipping you with the skills and confidence to walk on to our Novice squad. Don't miss this chance to discover a new passion and meet fellow rowing enthusiasts!

Only $100!

The fee includes the weekend Learn-to-Row Event and a two-week program.

Saturday will focus on introducing you to the sport of rowing and all it has to offer, including building community, enhanced fitness, and well-being, and spending time outdoors on our city's hidden gem, Lake Merced.

Sunday will apply all these basics and venture out onto the water!

Our 2026 Novice Cohort is closed.

At Pacific, our adults row year-round. We recruit a new novice cohort every summer. Sign up for our waitlist to receive email updates on our Learn to Row events for our 2027 Novice Cohort starting early summer 2027.
