Pacific Rowing Club – Men’s Junior Rowing

At Pacific Rowing Club, our Men’s Junior Program is built on strength, teamwork, and discipline. We believe rowing shapes athletes not only as competitors but also as leaders, teaching resilience, accountability, and the value of pulling together toward a common goal.

Our program welcomes boys of all experience levels—from those stepping into a boat for the first time to athletes preparing for collegiate rowing. Guided by dedicated and knowledgeable coaches, our men’s team develops technical skill, endurance, and mental toughness while building camaraderie that extends well beyond the boathouse.

Rowing with PRC means being part of a competitive tradition. Our athletes race at regional and national regattas, gaining exposure to the highest levels of junior rowing. Along the way, we emphasize sportsmanship, academic balance, and steady progression, ensuring every rower has the tools to succeed both in the sport and in life.

Whether you’re in 8th grade learning the basics or a high school athlete striving for championships, Pacific Rowing Club provides the coaching, community, and training environment to help you reach your goals.

Join us, and discover the rewards of rowing—every practice, every stroke, every race. No prior experience is required to get started. Rowers may join up until February 1st.

Men’s Varsity Program (U17/U19)

Pre-season land training begins Monday, August 18 through Friday, August 29. We’ll be ramping up alongside the women’s team with a focus on fitness and cohesion. Expect erging, running, and circuit training as we prepare for the competitive season.

Men’s Novice Program (U15/U16)
During the first two weeks, we’ll cover rowing basics, equipment care, and technique with a focus on injury prevention—and begin building the bonds that define a great team.

Attendance: Rowing is a team sport that relies on consistency.

  • Rowing is an intensive aerobic based sport, and fitness declines quickly without regular training.

  • Practicing together is essential for boat timing and performance. Bats cannot practice if we are missing athletes.
If any scheduling conflicts come up, please reach out—I’m happy to work with you.
