Join Women’s Rowing

Pacific Rowing Club – Women’s Junior Rowing

At Pacific Rowing Club, our Women’s Junior Program is dedicated to developing strong, confident athletes—both on and off the water. We believe rowing is more than a sport; it’s a pathway to teamwork, resilience, and lifelong friendships.

Our program welcomes athletes of all experience levels, from complete beginners to seasoned competitors. Guided by passionate and experienced coaches, our women’s team trains to excel in technical skill, physical conditioning, and race-day performance. Each rower is encouraged to set personal goals, challenge themselves, and contribute to the success of the team.

Rowing with PRC means becoming part of a tradition of excellence. Our athletes compete in regional, national, and even international regattas, building a competitive edge while fostering a supportive team environment. Along the way, we emphasize sportsmanship, academic balance, and leadership—preparing our rowers for success in college rowing programs and beyond.

Whether you’re stepping into a shell for the first time or aiming for a championship finish, Pacific Rowing Club offers the coaching, community, and commitment to help you achieve your potential.

Join us, and be part of a crew that pulls together—every stroke, every race, every day. No experience is necessary to join! Rowers can join rowing up until February 1st.

Women’s Varsity Program (U17/U19)

Pre-season land training starts Monday 18th August and runs until Friday August 29th.
We will be ramping up on land along with the men's team. We hope to use this time to assess where everybody is at physically as well as get the team working as one cohesive group. We are all PRC whether we are men or women, novice or varsity. Please come prepared to erg, run, or do a weights circuit each day.

Womens’s Novice Program (U15/U16)
Practices will be in the afternoon starting at 4:30. The first week will be  4:30 to 6:00pm. We hope to use this time to assess where everybody is at physically as well as get the team working as one cohesive group. Please come wearing athletic clothing, good shoes you can run in, water, and a snack.  Tighter fitting bottoms are best as to not let baggy shorts get stuck in the slides of the boat. Be prepared to erg, run, row or do a circuit each day. I know everyone is adjusting to a new academic year as well, but I hope to see you all each day as it will best prepare you for the season.
