The Head of the Charles is the biggest regatta in the U.S., and the second largest rowing event in the world each year. Pacific is seen on an international stage, and many colleges monitor the results. This can dramatically increase the recruitability of our athletes. The trip is not only important to the athletes who get to race but all of Pacific Rowing Club.
If your athlete is not racing this weekend, he or she can watch the event at the boathouse. We will be hosting a viewing of the race Sunday from 7am to 10am. Thanks to varsity men’s rower Max Van Duyne for putting this together.
All race times are EASTERN standard time on Sunday:
- 8:53 AM W YOUTH 4+ Women's Youth Fours
- 10:06 AM W YOUTH 8+ Women's Youth Eights
- 11:36 AM M YOUTH 4+ Men's Youth Fours
If you cannot make it to the boathouse you can watch the races in the comfort of your home.
If your rower is competing at the regatta you can pay for the event on our Registration page
